Call Me Patty

So this is my first post, and this is your first visit here (I would think), so already we have something in common. Chances are you stopped by because you have an interest in Romance novels and the people who write them. In that case, I will tell you a little about myself. I am a married mother of two from Rochester, NY. I love all things athletic, the musical stylings of Billy Joel, and cheesy eighties television. I have been writing in the nonfiction genre since I graduated college, and just recently started writing romance fiction. My book "Love Game" will be released in the summer of 2007 with Triskelion Publishing. So, now that we are acquainted, I should let you know that I have a few "reading guidelines" when it comes to my blog.
1) I enjoy attitude. I write with it, my characters ooze it, and I think life is much more interesting when you have it. If I have an opinion about something, I will let you know it, and I respect the hell out of yours.
2) I don't like the self-important musings of authors who think they are the next Hemmingway. I won't bore you with the logistics of my writing processes, nor will I won't offer advice unless you ask for it.
3) It's fun to be funny. My two favorite people in the world are George Carlin and Robin Williams. If that doesn't tell you about my personality, I don't know what will.Thanks for dropping by! Hope to see you again!
